Making Minerva Park (even more) Beautiful

Tree Planting

Several of your awesome neighbors have been working diligently to plant over 300 native trees and shrubs, donated by Green Columbus and Franklin County Soil and Water. The group worked through sometimes rainy and cold weather to plant seedlings in various parts of Minerva Park.

Did you know?

The flowers and garden beds throughout the village are planted and maintained by volunteers? The awesome village maintenance crew is responsible for mowing the grass and maintaining the common areas, but the gardens in front of the entrance signs, circles of the cul-de-sacs, and areas around the ponds and walking paths are made beautiful by your friends and neighbors.

Shout out to all the amazing volunteers keeping Minerva Park beautiful!

Curbside Composting Program

You may see yellow buckets popping up in various driveways around the village. Minerva Park was selected to participate in a curbside composting pilot program through The Compost Exchange. While registration for the pilot has closed, there are over 60 homes registered! We are hoping that the pilot is a success and the program becomes a permanent program for Minerva Park!

If you signed up for the pilot, make sure to put your buckets out every Thursday morning, by 7:00 AM. Keep Minerva Park beautiful!
