Meet the Hoods! Shaun and Molly live with their adorable pups Winston and Goldie on Minerva Lake Rd. They purchased the home in 2018 from Annabelle Romine who raised her family in the house for 53 years!

Molly and Shaun are from Ada, OH, and are high school sweethearts! Shaun joined the Army Reserves and then attended The Ohio State University receiving his bachelor’s in history. Molly also attended OSU and received her bachelor’s in strategic communications. They were married in 2007 after Shaun returned from serving a year in Iraq.

Shaun has been a realtor for 8 years. He and Molly were living and Gahanna and were in the market to expand on their rental properties when Shaun found the house. As a realtor and avid golfer, he was familiar with Minerva Park, but they weren’t looking to move. After they both fell in love with the home, they decided to make it their own! Most of their family still lives in the Village of Ada but the move to MP was extra special as Molly’s sister and young nieces live nearby.

They love the community of MP, the walking paths, and spending time in their large backyard. Molly is passionate about gardening and has recently become active in the MinervaFlora group. You may have seen her at this year’s Arts in the Park plant sale. Molly has transformed their backyard into an oasis, and it has been on the garden tour in previous years.

Molly manages the couple’s real estate investments including Columbus rentals, an Air BnB in Hocking Hills, and two Air BnBs in Naples, FL!

You may recognize Shaun and Molly from the ad in this newsletter! Be sure to reach out should you ever need a realtor!

Fun facts: It is rumored that their home was one of the model houses for Minerva Park. As Shaun and Molly have made many updates to the home they’ve worked to maintain the character of the original house and still have one of the original bathrooms with fixtures from the 1950s!
